Hockey fans, you are in luck! The City of Bridgeport is home to the Bridgeport Islanders! Bring the family and catch a home game at Total Mortgage Arena at 600 Main Street. Sacred Heart University Discovery Science Center and Planetarium

This park is a great place to take in the views of the Long Island Sound or go for an early evening run. Parking is abundant and much of Seaside Park is wheelchair accessible.

Ellsworth Park

Ellsworth Park is a popular park amongst Little League Players! Baseball fields and tennis courts are abundant in this city park. Ellsworth also has a splash pad perfect for children to cool off in during the hot summer months.

Went Field

Went Field is a quaint little respite from the urban hustle and bustle. Green grassy spots perfect for picnics can be found on Went Field. You can also utilize basketball courts and baseball fields. Food trucks often line this park during lunch and dinner hours.

Fayerweather Island Light

This walking path leading to a lighthouse is well known for being the most beautiful walk you can take in all of Bridgeport. The Stone pathway right along the water is an especially beautiful walk during the sunset hours. Make sure you have good shoes on when venturing out the lighthouse – the pathway is made of uneven stone.
